TZM Alloys Introduction
We have been a leading producer of high-performance TZM (Titanium, Zirconium, Molybdenum) metal products in China.
Like pure molybdenum, TZM has two ways to produce. One is produced by powder metallurgy, the other is produced by arc-cast processes.
Even if TZM prices are higher than pure molybdenum, this metal is still chosen by some applications. TZM alloys have better performance than pure molybdenum under higher temperatures. At elevated temperatures, the alloy has increased strength. And TZM alloy has a higher recrystallization temperature compared with pure molybdenum, which can reduce the possibilities of embrittlement at higher temperatures.
